Ready to start planning?  You can check out the tentative schedule for the 2024 Mansfield Turkey Trot: 

7:00 AM Registration, Packet Pick Up & Parking Open

  • 7:30 AM - GOBBLE GOBBLE 1 Mile Fun Run Time (All Gobblers)

  • 8:00 AM - 5K Event Start Time (all 5k’ers)

  • 9:00 AM - 5K AWARDS Grab-n-Go Awards Station!

  • 9:15 AM - Official Course Closure

Course: The 2024 Mansfield Turkey Trot will feature a 5K and 1M Fun Run events.

The 2024 Mansfield Turkey Trot will feature a 5K and Fun Run events.  The 5K is a new out and back course starting from James McKnight East Park. Here's a detailed break out of each course by event.  

Parking: Parking for the event will be free and available at the James McKnight East parking lots and RunUnited Mansfield. 

Course Safety

Course safety is a BIG part of what we do!  Every runner's safety is important.  Please obey all traffic laws and police instructions. Please stay inside the running lane between the curb and cones.

Water Station will be located near the 1.5M for the 5K and the finish line for both the 5k and Fun Run.

Please drop any cups and trash in the trash bins located at or near the water stations.

Awards

 

Awards for the Mansfield Turkey Trot are distributed by both age and gender for the 5k only.  Age group awards are three deep- 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Overall and Masters overall awards are awarded for both female and male. 

Participants will compete in the following Male and Female Age Groups: 10 & Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20 - 29, 30- 39, 40 - 49, 50 - 59, 60-69, 70 & over.  Awards are based on Chip Time with no double dipping for overall winners.

Finisher Medals for both 5K and Fun Run participants.

Overall awards will be presented to the first place for Overall, male and female and Masters (40+) Overall, male and female for the 5K. 

Age group awards will be available for pick up at the RunFAR tent:

  • 9:15 AM for 5K’ers
